Exposed to the wholesale market.

Bioland’s flex tariff gives the site exposure to wholesale pricing. In the middle of the day, when the wider system is oversupplied with solar, prices fall.

In the evening demand is tight and prices rise as Cyprus leans on its oil-burning centralised generators. Every half hour is priced differently, and the spread between midday and evening is wide.

Charge cheap. Discharge at the peak.

When the midday surplus pulls prices down, NeuraFlex charges the battery. When the evening peak arrives, it discharges into the club’s load. Every day, without anyone touching it.

A first of its kind in Cyprus.

NeuraFlex lets batteries operate intelligently against the newly available flexible electricity tariffs.

  • For businesses that can’t fit enough solar for their demand: the site still benefits from cheap solar power on the grid.
  • Where the incoming fuse is too small for the load, NeuraFlex can cap the site’s peak draw from the grid.
  • Less reliance on the grid for the site, less stress on the national system.
