A 162-room beachfront hotel in Limassol ran its four chillers on fixed schedules. ThermaFlex now tunes them live through the existing BMS, with no new plant and no risk to guest comfort.

A beachfront hotel with a heavy cooling load
Elias Beach is a 4★ hotel of 162 rooms on the Limassol seafront, cooled by four Hitachi chillers. In a hotel like this, cooling makes up roughly half the electricity bill. Cyprus also has one of Europe’s most expensive and carbon-intensive grids.
Before ThermaFlex, the plant ran the way most do. Fixed schedules and cautious set-points ignored the weather, the building’s behaviour and the daily tariff curve. Guests stayed comfortable, yet the chillers worked harder than they needed to.
ThermaFlex sits on the existing plant and tunes how it runs, around the clock. The hotel needed no new plant, no capital outlay and no trade-off on guest comfort.

Every month used less energy than its own baseline. Savings ran from 15% in the mildest month to 23% at the peak of summer.
